Matt Servini and Vanessa Rapier co-founded The Craft Distilling Business Ltd in 2017. We first met in 1998 working for soft drinks manufacturer, Cott beverages Matt in R&D, Nessie in Marketing. Along the way Matt has been Company Director for a number of multi-national organisations spanning technical, marketing and commercial. Nessie spent her time working in the hospitality industry developing the marketing and commercial strategies for a number of UK pub and restaurant businesses.
Two decades and lots of gin later, The Craft Distilling Business was born out of a mutual desire to bring something exciting and innovative to the retail and hospitality industry. Since then we have built and installed over 50 micro distilleries, developed over 200 spirit recipes and supported dozens of craft distillers in the creation of high quality premium spirit brands.
